So today I felt like dressing a bit more casual, and I think denim on denim is a great touch to make a casual outfit look more stylish. Talking about style, Vans shoes mostly make me daydream about  an old-school California era, sunny days, palm trees and ocean breeze come to mind - they did after all start in the West Coast as skateboarding footwear and continue to be one of the leading brands also in the surfing, snowboarding and urban markets. I thought I'd match them with this denim-based outfit which makes them really stand out, thanks to their awesome colour.
